FEET ON THE TABLE FUN RUN

At 8:00 a.m. from Lions Park, a 5M Fun Run/3M Walk will take place, dedicated to the awareness of the Mesas.  Now in its second year, “Feet on the Table” offers registration starting at 7:00 a.m. with fees of $20 per adult and $10 per child.  For more details on participating or to volunteer at the event call 303-278-8005. This fun run is a family affair, but also challenging. The route starts on pavement at the Kayak Course by Lions Park at the west end of 10th Street, runs downstream 1/2 mile to Vanover Park, and then north on Tucker Gulch Trail to the junction with 1st Street, up through the neighborhood to the North Table Mountain Trail trailhead. There, the route changes to single track dirt and continues up to the base of Golden Cliffs and staying, below the rim goes north 1 mile to the north trailhead. Then back on pavement, the route returns via Cressman Gulch Trail, Tucker Gulch Trail, and Clear Creek Trail to the start point. Total distance just about exactly 5 miles, 500 feet elevation gain and loss.
