This list identifies 235 species that have been seen so far in one or more of the typical habitats in and around Golden. Ninety have been seen on or near North Table Mountain. A bird listed as Common may be found in only one (or a few) of the habitats surveyed; for example, the Rock Wren is often seen around the cliffs of the Table Mountains from spring to early fall, but rarely elsewhere or in other seasons.
